What it is
On July 23, 2025, the same day as the Eaglecrest funding decision, Council passed a separate motion. It said public art, "including BC Hydro boxes," would be considered during strategic planning in 2027.
The motion came up under an agenda item about a letter on decorating concrete barriers. It passed 4–1 (Resolution 25-177). Councillor Harrison was opposed. The minutes do not give reasons.
No dollar amount was attached. This was not part of the list of 33 initiatives moved by the Eaglecrest funding plan.
